Hey Peeps!
Wow...i had the best time EVER...i was flying...Last night the wind started picking up...the yard turned into the best playground...i could not keep up with it...the leaves were passing me - the branches were whipping my behind...T'il i got hit in the face...that knocked me out for a bit - i needed a rest. I made it home with one eye shut...that got me to be lectured on how i should not go out again...Even the SPA was on the radio telling people: DON'T LET YOUR PET GO OUT!!! That was it -- i was grounded...well after that pretty intense outdoor party i slept with my 2 eyes shut!

The Nut Case hunt

So this squirrel - name Iggy - is spoiling my life with his incessant back and forth runs between his hut and my fence! And the worst about it: he is loud! He totally advertises his coming and going! Lately i've been really close to get him - i took 2 jumps in the air...man that was sooooclose!!! But no...he got on "his" electrical post safe and sound (like LOUD). His vocalization and tail movements mean one thing: I won!
I want one thing for my dinner tonight: Iggy roti!

The Nut Case!

I have been facing a challenge lately that's DRIVING ME NUTS!!! There's this squirrel living in my quarters - not your usual stupid nut chaser - a master of tease!! (see photo previous post - yes i was able to snap a shot...it illustrates the situation well!).
So the story started when my great aunt - who was abducted by the planet death last year - an animal lover - rescued myself and all my pals...Anyhow, she did not descriminate when it came to feeding animals...know what i mean? so racoons were fed, skunk joined the party, and this squirrel jumped on the bandwagon. At first i thought: good plan Auntie - get the prey closer to home, make him fat - end of that story. Well....it did not exactly had the effect i was hoping for....The nut case came to get his peanut every day - answer a name given to him...and basically flipped his finger at me on the way back!!

Back from the WILD!

Wow...let me tell you - the wild was really wild!! On earth as in the sky...Observing the Stellar system made me wonder about my place on this planet...so i went on a universe exploration....
 So, NO we are not alone - yes there is a feline galaxy - and yes i was abducted by aliens in the past! Numerous signs were revealed to me on that trip...I am not my normal anylonger and being back in the hood has been an adjustment. I think my pals are sniffing something...Time re-connect! I am facing challenges...More in the next post.

Mittens' Dynasty

There's radical change at home - it is not a home any longer it is a sanctuary. My human companion is studying Tai Chi...the effect was immediate: the air changed in the house - the practice is the heartbeat of the house...to the extent that wild life awaken and congregates around him during practice...so was born my dynasty, i decided!

So while my housemate is on his way to become semi-legendary, i'm mastering my moves...while he is mastering the art of fighting a rattle snake (center theme to martial art!) i hang on to my electric trick! (see pevious post).

i am an electric cat!

As i am growing older and wiser i acquire more powers...not sure where this one comes from but guess what? i am an electrical energy source - that's right - that freaks the hell out of my human companions... 

 However i'm not too much in control of the electricity in me...leading to funny situations...My housemate surprised me the other day by picking me up out of nowhere...oh boy! i jumped off my 4 legs, flew out of the window consequently my housemate knocked her arms in the window frame and got that look on her face...was not quite sure what to make of it....and then followed the analysis (human companions...argggg) Was it her magnetic field in contact with my furry electric energy or did the earth shake? Do i actally plug in the neighborhood grid? is it dangerous? Listen all i know is i feel fine - i'm good! My fur is looking good - my sleep not disturbed...this is just one of my many talents that insure me that any predator out there - beware - i'm charged!!!

Am i a Saint or a Sinner?

That is the question! Nature offers me a wide range of delicacies...I've taken on butterflies lately...which my housemate seems to be upset about....so depending on people's reaction i either feel like a saint (hunting rodents) or a sinner...Frankly they all taste the same to me! So what's that pick and choose? I think it has a lot more to do with what story you decide to tell yourself...and then for the receiver...well that's the collision of 2 realities...In my world if you're flying, jumping, crawling, running - i'll stop here the list of my 3D world - you're a gift to me!!!

I found Paradise....

I am sitting in the office and swiping the floor with my tail...this is not a sign of impatience but rather an introspection / inspirational moment...i think i found paradise...I heard someone talking about this Temple in India dedicated to rats...Hello Happinesss! This place was made for me. Do you think it might drive me nuts?...like a new drug on my brain..too much stimulation...the view of thousands of rats eating and drinking offerings...Unless this veneration would appease my hunt instinct and bring me back to this place of introspection - swiping the floor with my tail - sitting in awe!

campaigning idea...

It's election time AGAIN in the beautiful city and we are on information overload over here! Granted i don't give a flying f***k about the issues...these are my housemates concerns...however the other day a proposition came to my attention...something to do with cruelty to dogs...right there my ears got all erected if i can say! This proposition is about stopping the cruelty to dogs whose owners make them wear costums....Are you kidding this is my favorite entertainment!...and as i revealed in my last post - i've got an issue with a new neighbor's dog....so after consulting with my sidekick "Happy-Go-Lucky" we decided that campaigning against the ban would be our biggest contribution to the hood! First, let's post signs on our neighbors lawn against the proposition. Second, let's remind the neighbor - this is the land of the free! And having his doggy wearing a bat costum or even better a CAT WOMAN costum is of hight importance!!!

New neighbor - no good

Someone new moved in next door - no problem with that - except there is a DOG - yeah...i usually have no issue with other species since i'm pretty pacifist but this one...i don't know he gives me the creeps...He's BIG and fluffy...And you are not going to believe this!! The dog has a job!! Guess what he does???

He is a therapy dog...Well i hope it works better with people than with me...because i am not under his charm right now. Working on what super power to use to clear this situation - need to consult with my sidekick - will be back with more...

New moi - new super powers

So it is a new year and my goal is to craft new super powers...

There's a class starting.....just kidding - hey but what about that?? If i were to teach super powers - would you attend? Noooo bad idea - the world is a dangerous place enough already...I've got a clumsy sidekick to deal with..you have no idea the responsibility...That class is designed exclusively for her! First, i've got to shake her reality a bit...Lately at night, she goes hunting ducks...now that could be a good thing - especially for my French housemate who luuuuves duck pâtés...however the duck hunting happens in the bathroom and the prey is a rubber duck...See what i mean??? So let say Happy-Go-Lucky is training for our next mission...I am wondering if i should give her the retriever training????

New year - new me!

This year i am getting out of my terrible twos!

However i am still going to drive like a maniac, listen to decadent music while my house mates are not home, climb on everybody's roof, threatened nature, so? you're going to ask me what's new???
Well, i am going to work on my image - and my relationships. First, i am renaming my sidekick "Happy-Go-Lucky" which is really truer to her nature...and i suspect might improve our partnership. Good moves for a new year!
